I can’t help but feeling disappointed by this sequel. Maybe I expected too much? I really appreciated the first novel - using the Lovecraft mythos with a twitch, but this second volume lacks a proper plot. A grand scheme like the first one had. Surely there will be a third instalment and out of curiosity I will read it, but if it’s in the same line as this one it will be my last.

Great expansion to the first book and I hope there's a third one coming. feels like there's more to tell here.
