The Monomyth

"Joseph Campbell discovered a pattern common to most ancient myths. He called that pattern the monomyth or the hero's journey. This creative thesis draws from that concept in several ways. First, in the critical introduction, the monomyth paradigm is applied to the author's journey through the Fairfield University MFA in Creative Writing program.
