2.5 rounded up. Not because it wasn't good, but it covers a LOT of stuff, so inevitably a lot of it wasn't relevant to me, such as sections on fertility issues, choosing child care, and being a single parent. It was also a bit too America-centric at times, but then what book isn't these days.

It did make some good points though, and had some interesting exercises to help with thinking about whether to have a child or not.
