Sirius Black came into the world with a bang.

“Does my brother know?” he asks finally, Slughorn opens his mouth but before the words make it out, the sound of something being broken joins his mother’s cries. Glass maybe? Whatever it is, it shatters. The echoes of tiny pieces hitting the stone floor lingering in the air. 

Regulus gives Slughorn a grim smile. “I’ll take that as a yes.”

I have the feeling this will make me cry like crazy

Regulus gives him a small smile. A shrug. “Of course. We’re brothers. We’ll have each others’ backs, always.”

Sirius gives him a curt nod. “Always,” he agrees.

Regulus is simultaneously one of the most and least important people in the kingdom.

“Your wish is my command,” he makes a whole show of it, sinking down to his knees. He doesn’t ever drop his head though, holding Regulus’s eyes the whole time. Several seconds pass where none of them speak. The tension finally broken when the man on the floor smirks. “Does this please you, sir?”

Something stirs in the pit of Regulus’s stomach but he pays it no mind. Glaring down at the man below him. “Nothing about you pleases me Potter.”

Well I guess you are a king now Reggie congrats

"Where is the king?" Regulus gets to his feet. Because no one keeps him from his brother. No one. If he has to walk through a battlefield to get to him he will. "Answer me!"

But he's my everything, you understand? He's my everything."

Potter gives him a quizzical look, tilting his head to the side. "You have a brother? You should have said something! I'd love to meet him."
