Michael McDowell

Blackwater 3 - La Maison - L'épique saga de la famille Caske

Elinor Caskey uses her strange occult powers to control the citizens of the small town of Perdido and destroy those who oppose her will

The House

I liked it. There are some weird parts, like continual reference to a Caskey family member buying a little boy, which I know in the context of the book isn't bad, but man it is weird to read and weirder to try to make it normal. It is an interesting family saga.
