This was my first Michael Robotham novel and I loved it.📚📚📚

It is a story with about domestic abuse, friendships, and mental illness. It is also about Philomena McCarthy’s life as a police officer, in a male dominated workplace. 

I highly recommend this psychological thriller and am planning to read all this authors backlist.

2.5 stars. I have many thoughts about this. The story and the mystery/suspense was enjoyable but I just don't think I liked how the main character was written. Things also seemed a bit rushed at times and I felt like my head was spinning. Overall I enjoyed the read and found myself wanting to know what happens next, but there was just something missing ifor me.
