Though some may complain many elements were "borrowed" from Dodie Smith's I Capture the Castle, it is a really nice book and the characters are very lovely, I would recommend this to anyone who wants to read something light and fairly well-written; it gets you really quickly and you find yourself wondering what's going to happen next. Sophie's pov is nice, although maybe a sixteen-years-old would write the journal differently - but maybe it's just me being picky. Also, I can't be the only one shipping Otto Rahn with Sophie, can I? :)

A Brief History of Montmaray is a good book if you are looking for a bit of a slow, historical fiction book. It has enough action, and just a little romance. The problem with it, though, is that it might be a bit slow in the beginning, since it is written in journal entries.
