Fans of Niki de Saint Phalle and Jean Tinguely will delight in this first ever collection of their radiant posters. Niki de Saint Phalle's bold, colorful work lent itself perfectly to graphic design when she started producing posters in the early 1970s. Likewise, her partner Jean Tinguely began creating poster art around the same time. Both artists developed their talent in this genre and this lively collection offers brilliant reproductions of their most important posters, many of which the two artists collaborated on together. This selection includes posters with Niki de Saint Phalle's signature "Nanas," Jean Tinguely's abstract chromatic compositions and some posters on which the two artists collaborated. This beautifully produced volume includes an enlightening introduction by Isabel Siben and an appendix with a catalog raisonne of 150 posters by both artists.
