This is the first time I've ever cried at the beginning of a book! I felt lost and empty for a while, but then the story picked up and swept me away, just like the first. I was overthrown by the romance, squealing and grinning to myself at practically every moment.
It is as well written as the first and I actually enjoyed this one more, if possible! 
It has a massive twist at the end that takes your breath away - I swear I was shaking!!

Pandemonium (Delirium Trilogy 2)

           Holy moly! Soooooo I'm not usually one to gravitate towards a carnival story, boyyyyyy am I glad I read this one! This book kept me stuck to the pages! I had been in a slump for a few weeks and this gave me the boost I needed. Ready for awesomeness? :D

First of all this is how I felt:



I absolutely loved the mysterious atmosphere, it’s the type of book that makes you say.. how did I miss that! The character development was well paced, the descriptions were perfect to paint pictures in my mind, the world building was beautiful. I felt vibes of Caraval and Throne of Glass, the mix of carnival and a badass heroine. The magical system was super intriguing, filled with illusions and sexiness, absolutely captivating. Somehow I am always attracted to the morally grey character and wow was this character one I completely gravitated towards. 



I was on my toes throughout the whole book, Willow leaves us wondering who the heck is the bad guy! And there it is right in front of your nose. I will definitely be reading the next book. Have you seen the cover! I am ready to learn more about this world, and honestly I can't wait to see more of the certain sexy someone.

So I skipped about half of the book. I was waiting for Lena to find Alex the whole time and she did. At the very end. The cliffhanger was quite interesting. But overall, this book was hella boring.

That ending was so predictable! Curious how that will play out in the next book though. Totally here for the drama.

This series has been on my bookshelf for 6 years because I thought I wouldn't like it but I actually really did! Often when a book has alternating chapters in the past and the present day I like one of the two more and get kind of annoyed with having to read the chapters I don't really like, but in this book the 'now' and 'then' chapters were really well done and equally interesting. Really liked the part where Lena met Raven and became a stronger person and the part after she escapes. The idea of love being a sickness is kinda dumb, but I really liked the story around it.

Still not sure if I will be reviewing this because technically I didn't actually read the whole book. I read a fair bit of it then put it down because I didn't like but was told to read the end so I read the last chapter. yeah I hated it even more. 

I adored book1. I did it amazing sooo good and some what magical but this......I have no idea what happen here. And it makes me sad that this such a let down :'(

           Don't read this if you don't know the ending but I knew it! I read this knowing Alex couldn't be dead and now he's pissed off big time. Fair enough she didn't go back to look for him at all. Oh I love being right. Now I have to see how it goes in the last book.

Cresceu a ler e a escrever continuações para os seus livros preferidos mas, em 2010, começou a contar as suas próprias histórias com Antes de vos Deixar mas Delirium, o primeiro volume da sua trilogia distópica foi, contudo, o seu maior sucesso.
Pandemonium é o segundo volume dessa trilogia, foi publicado em 2012 e traduzido para dezassete línguas. Ainda não está disponível em português.
Depois de uma estreia arrasadora com esta autora graças a Delirium, heis que regresso a esta distopia, em que o amor é uma doença e, cujo fim do primeiro volume, me havia deixado com o coração nas mãos, coisa que Pandemonium volta a conseguir ainda com mais sucesso. Das personagens de Delirium apenas Lena continua connosco. A jovem ingénua do primeiro livro cresceu e endureceu, levando-nos a respeitá-la e a compreender como as acções anteriores a mudaram. Todo o novo rol de personagens é interessante e misterioso, guardando cada um os seus segredos e, tendo cada um, um papel a representar nesta complexa luta. Uma nova personagem em específico causou-me sentimentos contraditórios pela posição que assume em toda a trama. Gosto dele, gosto da sua história e até da sua ligação mas o meu cérebro ainda está a tentar compreender o que raios se passou. Não sei o que vai acontecer a partir daqui mas cheira-me que vem aí sarilhos dos grandes.
Com um final, mais uma vez, de cortar a respiração, Pandemonium é uma sequela que ganha o seu direito a elevar-se do seu antecessor pois acaba por ser uma leitura muito mais revigorante e arrasadora. Lauren, não sei o que estás a tramar, mas vamos a isso!
