Paradox Bound by Peter Clines is a time travel road narrative. The cover alone with the little green coupe driving on a lemniscate highway sums up two of the three road narrative aspects. What it doesn't tell us is that the car contains a couple. This novel is a 33CC33: couple, uhoria, and blue highway.

Spoiler-Free Review. 

I received this book as part of the BookCase Club subscription box. I definitely would not have picked up this book for myself. 


I found the book to be okay. It was not great...but it wasn't awful. The plot was interesting, but slow-moving. I feel like this story would best be suited for a TV-Movie. 

I liked Harry. She was not a damsel in distress and more times than not, saved the main character. Her character felt developed and consistent throughout the story.

Eli, on the other hand, did not feel consistent. He seemed plain, confused, unsure at the beginning of the story...and then it seemed like he just suddenly understood how to solve things within a week's time that no one else could solve in years. 

Overall, I am glad to have received and read a book that is not within the norm for me.
