The New Precision Journalism

The reprint edition of a 1991 guide to "precision journalism," which uses social science research methods to increase the depth and accuracy of news stories. The method is in contrast to the more artful approach of "new journalism" writers like Tom Wolfe who use short-story techniques to illuminate nonfiction.
