Such a beautiful story, I was really close to giving it a five stars rating. I love books where two different types of people somehow make it work and they turn out to be the whole world to each other. I picked this book up really randomly, it wasn't even on my tbr shelf, and I ended up loving it.

I usually hate when books start with the main couple hooking up and after a few months them meeting each other in a place when they least expected it. But this book made it work.

Jonah and Gray, if you saw them on the street, you'd probably think they were from completely different worlds, and you'd probably be right, but the two of them, after going through a lot in their lives, somehow made what they created work. It was so satisfying to read their road to that.

Jonah was a character I don't think anyone would have a problem reading about. I feel that many young people struggling to find their place in their life would totally relate with him. At least I did. Gray is actually the reason I didn’t give the book a 5 star rating, because there were some moments where I was like "Stop thinking this way", but at the end I ended liking him a lot. This man was trying to give a world to Jonah in his own way so how could I not like him? Plus he was kinky and when Jonah said that: 


  
    "I think I finally found my princess, Mom. He’s six and a half feet tall, grumpy as hell, and talks dirty as sin."
  


He was totally right, the author for sure knows how to write intimate scenes, and the dirty talk? I was melting. 


I don't know why I started reading the series from the second book, although you don't have to start from the first book to understand the second and third one, but the characters from all three appear in every book and now I think I'll read them all because every book sounds pretty interesting.

Firstly I need to say how amazing the narrators were. I’ve read the ebook to this previously, and the voices matched each character so well. Even when one narrator was voicing the character of the other, they did such a good job and I just loved listening to this so much. 

I honestly don’t know where to start with explaining how much I love Gray and Jonah. I’m not sure if it was due to the amazing narrators or what, but I loved this so much more than my first read. 

Gray and Jonah are the ultimate sunshine x grumpy trope. Gray loves his routine and rules, he just wants to bury himself in his work because he feels like it’ll atone him for his sins. Jonah is the actual sun personified, has boundless energy, but also thinks he’s “dumb” and is destined to settle in life without ever exploring his bi side. 

These two compliment each other so much it honestly makes me want to cry. Jonah was the light that Gray needed in his world since he holds all this unnecessary guilt (from the events in book one) and refused to let himself be happy. Gray was the support and guide Jonah needed in his life to help him figure out the path that he wanted to be on. They both showed each other the exact time of love that they needed.

Riley Nash has this wonderful style of writing and it’s just as evident here as it was in book one. I’m constantly amazed with his writing and how easy it is to fall in love with the characters he writes. Nash just knows how to write people you want to protect from all the bad things in the world.
