This is such a well written story and I am so drawn into this series and this author has portrayed such a great family that I am so drawn into, but this is definitely not my favorite of plots that I have seen within this series. But despite that, I found the sex scenes HOT (probably the most heated out of all the books that I have read) from her. Because wow....but the story was something different. I did like seeing the background to the family and the connection that our two main protaganists have to the Five Points family. And such intrigue and mystery that is shared within this story here. I am so curious to read the latest installment of the series.

This was my introduction into the Five Poinys world. I loved Eoghan and Inessa there relationship was so nice. The age gap did pulled out a couple of times. And the desk is not my favourite part...in fact I skip it in reread

This was so close to 5 stars but u fortunately the last 15% was all about tying this book into her other stories instead of just concluding the relationship I was invested in. I don’t want to have to read other books to give a shit about the finale you know?

I really enjoyed this book but feel as though it needed a stronger climax. I was expecting so much and was kind of let down. The spice in this book was very well wrote & I enjoyed it. I can’t wait to finish this series.

other than the author referencing to herself in this book, this was a damn good read. and i also don't see the connection between the title of the book and the book?? but i devoured it nonetheless.

4 stars! I enjoyed this book. I found the second part much more interesting than the first. To be honest, I thought the inner monologue was a bit much at most parts and I did skim read most of it because of it. I really really enjoyed the dialog between the two main characters. Them not just talking about the plot, and joking with one another, etc. really added to the intimacy between them and that's why I read romance books - 🌟the intimacy🌟 (among other reasons). One fade to black scene, which was disappointing. Finn had cut himself by accident and she took his finger in her mouth and licked the blood. If there was any scene I would have wanted to see, it was that one 🥲. Still really recommend, amazing mafia romance!

Whew bitch this was a long one but it was SO GODDAMN GOOD. I can’t believe it took me so long to read this 😒 I’ll allow someone to slap me for that. Anyway this is mafia & I mean like REAL mafia I felt like I was in school learning all the in’s and outs of the mafia world & lifestyle. Ms. Serena had a lot of shit to say boy bc this baby was very long. It sets the foundation for an entire series so it’s understandable. The story is about Aoife & Finn who fate brought together because she owns a bakery on land that Finns boss wants to rip up & turn into something else. When they meet he literally blackmails her into selling & also into bed with him. Yeah fucked up but somehow I fell in love with him anyway. He’s alpha, possessive, educated, family oriented & so so obsessed with her. I really loved the plus size rep in here it was done so beautifully & I felt very seen. This story had ALOT of twists & turns & so many secrets I was never not entertained or thinking “wtf”. This was also so goddamn spicy Omg Finn is so nasty 😩 He has a thing for leaving his juices on her overnight or making her not shower afterwards. Also can we talk about pearl necklaces?! The writing was beautiful & the story was equally as beautiful. I can’t wait to continue on into the crossover. The only reason it’s not getting the full 5 is bc I think some of the info took away from the live story at times but that just might be a me thing. Also please check your TW before reading!

I’m obsessed!!!! Irish mafia in NYC....each series follows a different brother (in Finn’s case he’s kinda like adopted into the family) This couple, Finn and Aoife were incredible...so much passion between and the chemistry was perfect. He’s possessive ans there are some light submissiveness in this too from Aoife 😉 This book is longer than the others because it does have to set up the world building but I enjoyed that part a lot.

Solid 5/5 ⭐️ and 3.5 🌶 I LOVED Brennan and Camille so so so so much! She may be my new favorite heroine in this entire series. This story was darker and came with more trigger warnings (self harm/body dysmorphia). It was beautiful to see Camille find love and acceptance. Also was amazing to see her embrace who she was and shine like the star she was born to be. On the Mäfia plot of this story...it’s only getting BETTER. So intriguing and this new shadow government coming into play now is getting even crazier.

Unbelievably amazing. This series has to be one of my top 3 favorite mafia family series I have ever read. Each book just gets progressively better and the drama/intrigue gets even deeper. This book picks up right where book 4 left off so it is a much darker book especially around Connor's backstory. Please check trigger warnings for this book/series because I myself had to take a break from reading it to just process emotionally what is happening. I love how Serena really weaves all the stories together so brilliantly. All are so connected that you honestly can't read these as standalones. The relationship between Aidan Jr. and Savannah was hot and I didn't mind their insta love (there is a reason for it). I really think Savannah is my favorite FMC in this series so far because she beats to her own drum and fights for justice in a world of mafia men. I love that all these brothers are brought down to their knees for their women and they are all sooooo insanely possessive! Also who doesn't love an ass man? Aiden is most definitely one! In book 5 we are getting deeper into the shadow government at play and this story's version of the Illuminati. Its legit SO FUCKING GOOD!! The plot twists, the secrets, the whole entire web of this series is fascinating and addicting. Lastly, the parents - Aiden SR. and Lena - WOW WOW WOW. 2 psychopaths who love each other so much but literally go unhinged if their children are threatened. So much respect to them

I absolutely loved Serena’s writing and from the first 3 I have read I did not think anything would be better than Finn. But clearly Declan and Aela are a complete other world.

I didn't read the first book but I don't think that really matters. I might miss some world-building and some understanding of relationships between a few of the characters but I don't think that really took away from this particular novel. I think my favorite thing about this novel is Serena's writing style. The voices of both Inessa and Eoghan are done so well; something inside me connected to the blunt, no-nonsense, sometimes dark humor inner monologue the characters go through. So despite the fact that I for some reason could not get myself invested in the characters, the way this novel was written still made me want to continue reading. Don't get me wrong, I do like the novel. And despite the fact that Inessa's character is something I usually find myself liking, I just could not get myself to relate to her. I think it has to do with the fact that things (mainly characterization) could have been explored more. Inessa's relationship with her father, for one. He wasn't always an abusive father so while Inessa's coldness to him is understandable, there's a lack of contradicting conflict in it that would add depth to her character. Or her best friend. I don't know why they're friends. Besides the fact that Inessa likes to feel "normal" sometimes, her friend's character was practically unnecessary. Honestly, I am not even sure I am explaining myself correctly. I won't go into Eoghan's character because I understand that his background would possibly have been revealed more in the first novel. I do love his family's relationship with one another.
