jak už jsem říkala, tenhle díl zachránil celou sérii. líbilo se mi úplně všechno, výtky snad ani nemám. první část byla pomalejší a nudnější, ale nebyla špatná, pak nastala druhá část, kde se to všechno pomalu rozjíždělo, a třetí část byla samozřejmě nejzajímavější. fakt se mi to líbilo a celý prožitek ze série mi to o hodně zlepšilo. ten konec byl skvělé napsaný, celkově Stephenie umí psát, to jí musím uznat. bavilo mě to, nebylo tam tolik sladkých řečí, bylo to fajn. ✩ 5*/5*, nakonec vám přece jen twilight ságu doporučím.

So good but I didn’t like the Jacob POV section it went on for too long

served in many aspects, other aspects require a court case.

The finale to the Twilight series took so many insane creative choices, that I can’t believe that this book was still adapted into a film with the same storyline. Whatever good the previous books had built was dashed away with the introduction of Renesmee. This book had decent prose like the other books, but the storyline was something out of a bad fan-fiction. I can’t believe that this book seriously happened. The Twilight book series is undeniable for its moment in the limelight and has cemented itself in pop culture history, but this book is forever a stain on the franchise itself.

I hate vampire Bella 🙃

I've not read any of the other Twilight books except for this one. I was babysitting this doorstopper because a classmate of mine had left it in her desk before we broke up for the Christmas holidays. So, at her request, I lugged it all the way home to prevent it from being stolen. Mind you, the book had just been released so it was the hardback I was carrying. After finishing my pile of Christmas homework, I decided to crack this one open because I wanted to see what all the fuss is about. And erm, 12 year old me was thoroughly perplexed. Not because I'd not read a previous entry in the series before, but because it was just so bland, boring and simple. It was pretty easy to follow despite ignoring the other four books. There wasn't really much of substance. And I still don't understand why it needed to be so long. What did, however, shock me was the fact that Edward was a plank of wood nonce and Jacob was an angry nonce. Like these two gross men are what had the girls at school fighting? Yeah, I hate it.

i didnt like how they built up this huge fight then have it last one page.

Comfort reading at its finest

I thought that this book was good when I read it

I read the whole twilight series the past week and my thoughts before reading the books were that I wanted to know why there was a whole fandom about this one series. If I'm speaking truly about all of the series it was okay and I mean that in a reasonable way. The fourth book was truly exceptional. It had all the aspects of a satisfactory novel and I admired that. Breaking Dawn would have been my favourite in the series if it wasn't for Midnight Sun. My favourite in the series is Midnight Sun but Breaking Dawn still gives it a run for it's money. I read Breaking Dawn in one day, which maybe if I read it in two days might have made me appreciate it more.

A good book, though it did drag in parts. I did find it boring in places but it was a good book.

i kinda liked it. it isn't something to get all excited for.

Do you know how long this took me? Forever and forever and forever. But I loved it.

I'm so relieved it's over. It was so bad, but I can see now how addictive this series might be and I genuinely have reason to hate it now.

This one is my favorite. It is big but so much is happening. Bella is still kind of a pain in the ass but it is bearable. Edward had is asshole moment but it was not really that important. Jacob, well... it's Jacob. He is still an asshole but, at the end, we like him better because we understand. A book this big has its lenghts but, oh well. The only thing i didn't really enjoy, is the part for Jacob's POV. It was interesting but too long for my liking. The wedding is nice, the pregancy is intense, the preparation to the battle/the battle itself is really cool. The only thing I always wanted more is scenes with Bella being a vampire. We have had more of it in the books than the movie but still. .

i don’t hate jacob as much anymore

Reading this series the first time was the ultimate caving act as far as peer pressure went. Sadly, though, my first read was characterised by an incredibly snobbish attitude. @ Pas self: Get over it . Liking romance and "girly" stuff is allowed. Cool , even . What's changed now, you ask? Well... Adolescence in full vampire craze happened. And early 20s, yes. No, I don't do phases. If I like something, I like it. Which is what I feel towards vampire-centered fiction, just to be extremely clear. Except, I've finally put a finger on why Twilight doesn't evoke homey, warm feelings in me: such an easy read as it is, it lacks... bite. (Can't resist a pun) My fave tv show as a teen was TVD (Which still causes the aforementioned warm fuzzies. And quote-alongs. And rewatches. You got the gist) and I adored Buffy. Why? Because the vamps controlled themselves and still behaved like vamps and the romance was way spicier (If you read this last sentence and didn't think of Damon or Spike, I've officially failed at references). 3/5 Rating

I loved this book! It was a great conclusion to the whole twilight saga, and the story building and plot was overall really interesting. I also liked how we got to see Jacob’s side of the story through his eyes and his thoughts.
