This is definitely my least favorite of Palahniuk’s books. Honestly, every time the name dropping began, I started to skim. But actual story line and language is in line with the rest of his work.

This was a weird book. Once the actual story got going, it was okay, but most of the book was just odd. Not that fun and quirky odd that seems to be so popular, though. Just... like reading someone's rambling, alcohol-induced verbal diarrhea. The end was fun, if predictable, at least. Not a favorite.

Novelty format, saucy dialogue, and general briefness are really the only things this one had going for it. The plot was drawn out, and ended in a rather expected turn of events. Those actually complaining about the length of it are failing to see how that saved us all from more wasted hours.
