I loved this book! If you're looking for an introductory book to cryptocurrencies that isn't pithy and overly boring, then this book would be a good fit for you.

Here are some key aspects that I loved about the book:
- I really liked the way they devoted time to the history of money and the varying schools of thought that have evolved over time, so that we could understand the philosophy behind bitcoin and where/how it would fit in today. 
- There was an ELI5 explanation of blockchain and cryptocurrencies. Coming from a technical background, I was surprised to see such a well written, concise explanation of a "complex" technology without dumbing down the reader. Props to the authors!
- It was a very unbiased take on where the industry is at and where it could eventually go. As journalists, the authors did an unsurprisingly excellent job of explaining different stances while allowing us to form our own opinions about the industry.

It explains clearly where it comes from, the concept, and the possible uses of cryptocurrencies. There are also some chapters about the blockchain concept.
The only thing missing would be visual explanations of the concepts (there are some, but so few!).
