The Carrow Haunt was really fun. Not scary at all and I would have liked more on the characters, but I had a good time.
I want to read more by Darcy Coates for sure.

This was my favorite Coates book by far. It was delightfully terrifying and kept a steady underlying unease throughout the whole thing while also reaching a fever pitch at the end. The best horror books are the ones that never give you a rest to let your heart rate calm down and this was perfect. I also just loved the characters even when they were fighting with each other. Every dynamic was great and it was a treat to meet them all.

We follow Remy, a tour guide if the infamous and supposedly haunted Carrow House. The story opens with her starting her tour for a group of thrill seekers. With a vivid recollection of the events that have transpired in the house, the reader feels like they are part of this tour at the beginning, hearing all the things that have happened.

Remy is offered a chance to be part of a paranormal investigative team and is to spend 2 weeks at the Carrow House, something I personally would LOVE to do.

A few strange occurrences happen and the possible sightings of a ghost or two strive our characters onward excitedly.

More and more haunting begin to take place, terrifying our group and an even more horrible tragedy befalls them.

The horror continues to mount as more tragedies strike and our characters are being targeted one by one. It is highly possible that one of their own in the group is responsible.

This book was honestly an incredible read. Great paranormal horror and tension that kept me turning the page. The chapters are relatively short so definitely an easy read. I highly recommend everyone give this book a read

This was a solid, straightforward, fun haunted house story. A bit cheesy at times, but if you are in the mood for lots of ghosts and haunts, this is for you.
