I liked it. I feel like this kind of novel that's based on real life cases always seems a little hindered by the reality of the situation it depicts. I feel like the following of the victim's family was trying to make up for it, to add some more depth. Unfortunately for me I didn't care much for that storyline. I would have rather stuck with Mohammed for the whole novel, but I know it would have been a slimmer book for that.

But overall it was a good read. I didn't know anything about the case but I had spoiled the ending for myself and it added a much more somber tone to the book as it progressed.
