my eyes cried blood indeed but also tears bc it emotionally destroyed me i should have been warned and now therapy will have to be paid by the one who made me read this now time to read the last volume and cry my eyeballs out bc sadness level is apparently about to be a 11/10 so yeah lmao

Of course I liked it. Especially the creepyness in all of it, and the ****** who try to destroy Sandman and everything around him. The Corinthian is so fucking awesome. I remember liking him back then also.. and the whole quest with Michael was great. Why I don't put 4 stars in it was because I'm not a huge fun of the whole bring the baby.. and the whole pointless shit that's happening with the girl... and Sandman must not leave the Dreaming or he's going to die by *****..and he's like I'm safe when I'm here.. but he does.. he leaves -__- to just what? Talk with fuckin faeries.. fuck that.. and it's like... ugh.. it's like too obvious, maybe cuz I'm rereading it but yeah. Also, dunno if I mentioned that before-- but in Sandman at least - I fucking hate Faeries.. pointless useless faeries. BAH! Anyway, love the dialogue! Love the Corinthian and also love Loki. Fun read!

This is the second time I have read The Kindly Ones, and realized how much I missed the first time I read it. (In fairness, the last time I read it was when the comics were being printed, so it took over a year for me to read it.) It was such a satisfying conclusion to everything, bring all the loose threads together. (Though there might be a few more to wrap up in the next and final book.)

My heart. Every story in this volume was incredible, I finished this and just sat in stunned silence for a bit. Amazing, I am devastated this series is almost over. Also I love Matthew.
