**MYSTERY CAFE CLUB GROUP READ**

This was a book club selection, and I'm so glad we made the right decision. This author has not let me down. I was blown away by it. I couldn't put it down since it was so thorough. I was able to complete it in a single day (I had the audio version). This book tells the story of a group of friends (two of them are identical twins) who spend a few days skiing together at a cabin in the mountains. However, there is something lurking in the woods that is waiting for them to lower their guard and let it in. I enjoy the writing approach since we witness other individuals dealing with these "shadows" in the woods as well as reading about them. I mean, I'm a fan of the fact that it begins with a savage assault.

Wool I loved this book. A freaky monster slasher style story. And that ending, wooh. Would make an awesome film. I’ve read that the author’s writing gets better with her later books, I’m looking forward to them!
