I liked this, although not quite as much as The Maid of Fairbourne Hall. Elizabeth Jasicki's narration for the audiobook is pleasant, and the story is wholesome, sedately paced, and fairly predictable. While the book's setting of "gentle intrigue" is what I was in the mood for, the plot and characters aren't too memorable.
