The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl Beats Up The Marvel Universe
Reviews

Squirrel Girl is favorite hero! I've been following her adventures in Ryan North and Erica Henderson's fantastic and funny comic books and I was really happy to see she'd be getting graphic novel treatment. Squirrel Girl is super smart, funny, loves her friends, computer science, squirrels, eating nuts and kicking butts. She's not dressed in skimpy body suits. Her hair isn't perfect. She relies on her smarts and the powers of a girl and a squirrel to save the day over and over again. I don't want to give away the story at all, but I was not expecting the twists and turns this story took. And there are lots of cameos from Marvel heroes and villains - as you can probably tell from the cover - who do indeed get their butts kicked. Just like the comics, this book is smart and funny and I can't recommend it enough if you know young girls who want to read comics!

This was a straight up delight. I've never read a Squirrel Girl comic before, but if the rest are like this, I'm all in.
