You are magnificent, Courtney Milan! This whole series is basically an average of 5 stars imo. I love the writing, I love the ladies, I love the gents (cannot say that very often!!!) and the way the characters treat each other. Just everything. Oh well, except the fact that there are no other Turner siblings the author could write a book about. I am happy we got the novella about Elaine though, which is still my favorite in this series, I guess, but it is hard to choose because every book in this series is great. I simply cannot wait to read the author's other works.

I liked a lot of this, but my own personal issues made me very uncomfortable with certain aspects of the hero's personality and with the romance bits. It was by far my least favorite of all Courtney Milan books I've read. I considered not finishing it because I was uncomfortable. I expected to like it much more than I did. (As an aside: I totally thought Jeremy was in love with George and still kind of do. I expected this instead of the actual queer couple in the story. Like, c'mon, give the people [me] what they want.)
