A great follow up to book 1! A lot of the same really but makes me want to go straight into the final book!

Well that got a bit silly there in a few spots. Despite a couple of cheap attempts at "twists" this was another rather entertaining part of a story that escalated rather quickly and just keeps ascending.

4 of 5 stars ----- It started off real slow. I actually thought of dropping this book. But damn, the thrill of what would happen next hit me so hard. I loved how Ethan's character developed. I can now see him as the secret service agent that he really was in his part life, instead of just a confused man that he was in the first book. Though I want more of this development in the last book. And that ending, man! I suddenly felt the anxiousness I felt while watching The Walking Dead. I can practically hear the suspenseful music of TWD while Ethan was looking at the dead fence and the openly wide gates of Wayward Pines. I'm looking forward to the conclusion of this trilogy.

I thought it wouldnt continue to be as thrilling as the first book, but it grasped me from the start and i was done with it only after 3 days. The adventure and mystery continue and i can see why fox decided to make it a show. Recommended for a fast enjoyable read.

Aaaaaaaa - how can you end a book like this!?!? What have you done!

i still think the scifi plot is interesting but i also think blake crouch should be banned from using the words “fuck” and “make love” when he’s talking about ethan and his dick that cannot stay in his pants despite how much he “loves” his wife. also the fact that at least half of this book was just every female character existing as objects to beg to boink ethan or for ethan to think about boinking is so unnecessary, boring, and just bad. rip ben buddy your parents suck

3 stars. The twists in this series were very interesting at first, but there is just some middle book syndrome here. As thrilling as the Pines was, Wayward felt a little static and it’s become obvious who the “real” bad guys are. There is also just a bit too much going on. Like the story has too many shenanigans going on to really give any of them enough attention and detail. TW: human experiments, brutal violence, sexism

Ooh I like this series a lot. Blake Crouch is for sure one of my new favourite writers. Well... new as in I’ve been reading his books about a year! This is gripping and interesting. There are still mysteries to be solved which were set up in the first book. It wasn’t quite as fast paced at the first book but I’m still hooked! On to book 3!!

Szybciutko w 3 część, bo ten cliffhanger to złoto

okay... unexpected. Was really hard for me to imagine what may come after the first book, and that was not too bad.
