Imagining a Canada besieged by a vengeful USA in the 2100s, this is a tightly told story with excellent art, well imagined characters, and an inspired yet truly believable plot-line. Another homerun for Brian K. Vaughan.

It's every Canadian's worst fear, America is invading Canada. This comic is both hilarious and action packed. The story follows Amber, as a child she saw the initial invasion take place after the White House was attacked, and as an adult she is in a resistance fighting against the Americans. We are left with some unanswered questions like, did Canada start this war by attacking the White House or did America stage the attack to give them a reason to take control of Canada and their water. I look forward to reading more and enjoying the Canadian humor that pokes fun at themselves and America.
