This was my first Jane Fallon book, and I have to say that this was an intriguing premiss which is why I decided to pick this one up and after it has been sitting on my shelf for a while it was finally time to give it a read! This is a thriller that in the time of Online Dating and Dating apps that you can never be too sure about who is who and of you are speaking to the real person you believe you are.

Joni meets Ant on a dating site and is besotted by him - he is handsome, he is funny, he is kind, he is perfect. They enter a relationship, and Joni believes that Ant is no longer on the dating website; why would he need to be when they have each other?

Joni does a bit of snooping and discovers that Ant is speaking to other women on the site, and worse, appears to be taking advantage of them. Saffy and Mary are two of Ant's victims - the trio come together and plan to overthrow self-righteous Ant and his devious plans. The three become the best of friends as they spend more and more time together in their joint determination to end Ant's tirade against them.

I must admit that I enjoyed this one more then I through I would, and I almost missed my stop on the train and couple of times because I just too engrossed in the story to put the book down. This is a book that goes deep into friendships, relationships, loss, betrayal. The only negative for me with this book is that the author sometimes seems to be trying to downplay what Ant is doing, to make excuses for him and really there are no excuses for this behaviour.

This book was a really good easy read. It has twists that you don’t really expect; it seems like she’s kind of obsessed and then we find out he’s a gold digger, which is bad enough until you find out his wife is helping him! It’s a book that will make you smile.
