I wasn’t expecting to enjoy this as much as I did! The Breakup Vacation is a wonderful romance book, but ultimately centers on the values of friendship and sisterhood.

While Grace made some *very* questionable decisions, she was still a good character. She was complex and didn’t always do the right thing, which I actually really love in some ways. She was definitely a bad friend at some points in the book. You can tell that they did love and support one another though. Tiff and Camille were hilarious! Tiff’s raunchy humor. Camille being lost during conversations. These three were such a perfect friend group, even if they had their moments. 

Now, Grace and Daniel. They were lovely. I loved their banter and the flirting!! The spontaneity of their relationship was fun. Grace could truly be herself and be happy around Daniel, which was great to see. There were no set expectations for them to meet. They could just be. 

Overall, this was a really great book. I enjoyed the storyline and the characters. The writing style was fun and easy to read making this a great summer read! Thank you NetGalley and Atria/MTV, for the arc in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
