I absolutely adored this one! I think it is my favorite book in the series so far (with 1 more to go). I am in love with Layla and Caleb, especially Caleb. It captured my attention from the beginning and only fell for this book harder and harder as it progressed. I think Layla also being a baker makes me a bit biased because it’s something I also love to do and would actually love to be in Layla’s shoes. Literally the only negative I had was the ending felt a bit rushed for me, I think I would have like it extended just a little. But yeah this is my favorite book, my favorite couple, and just adore and connect with it so much!

I AM IN LOVE WITH CALEB ALVAREZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LIKE WHERE CAN I FIND ONE ????????????? I think Caleb & Layla’s story is my fave out of the 3! Sweetness overload!!! It honestly didn’t feel like I was reading a fake dating novel, because they are just so natural with each other! That sense of familiarity and understanding which sparked their chemistry even further!

This was such a great addition to the series. I absolutely loved the chemistry and the humor between Caleb and Layla. So many quotes hit home. This was a wonderful read, I can’t wait for the next book to come out.

Layla, she’s as sweet as her bakery but her love life, not so much. All she wants is what everyone wants, “to feel pretty and cherished and desired” 

Caleb steps in to save the day, from her awful date and to redeem Layla’s faith in men. He wants to show her what a good partner should be like, while she gives him dating pointers. No strings attached, no pressure dating. They’ve either come up with the perfect plan or a recipe for disaster. 

Mixed Signals was a sweet, romantic comedy that I couldn't put down. Seriously, I read it cover to cover! Layla and Caleb are a match made in heaven and I love watching their story unfold. Add in neurotic townspeople and the best group of friends/found family and it’s “the best I’ve ever had”. 

I love this series, this town, this group of friends.

this is my second read of this book already and i genuinely forgot how much i loved it. there is something so special and simple in the way Caleb and Layla work together and it makes me happy to read. related: need that Charlie book stat

I love the authors writing and characters so much, I could not contain my excitement when offered an Arc. So thank you to B.K Borison for letting me have one <3 I’ve been a fan of the Lovelight series for a while now, and have been looking forward to Layla and Caleb’s story since Lovelight Farms and it was definitely worth the wait :)

Layla Dupree and Caleb Alvarez gained such a special place in my heart from just the first few chapters, I immediately fell in love with their stories. Layla, the sunshine girl, just wanting to find love and finding it unexpectedly in the local sunshine boy was EVERYTHING. Caleb trying to fall in love with anyone else, but finally finding his way to Layla made my heart so happy. I love how much they love each other and how they communicated it through small touches and actions.

I related to Layla’s character so much, I cried so much in some scenes. I just want to hug her and put her in my pocket. HER GROWTH!!! Her realising she is allowed to be proud of herself for what she does was so special to me. Caleb being there for Layla no matter what and just doing everything he can for her because he loves her. HE IS SO SOFT AND ADORABLE. A REAL MAN.

All the Luka and Stella, Evie and Beckett and, Charlie and Nova CRUMBS !!! I love these characters so much, they have my whole heart. I missed them so much and loved seeing them again in this book, and I can’t wait for the next book in the series!!
