Xie Lian forced down a sob. “…I’ve already lost all my believers. Believing in me won’t do you any good; it might even bring disaster. Did you know? Even my friend has left me.”

This volume shows how you may feel ashamed of the person you were in your past, but despite your mistakes, your wrongdoings, your shame - you are still well-deserving of love. That there will be someone who will accept of your past, who will love you because you are you. 

And, more importantly, that the person in the past that you are so well-ashamed of is capable of change and transformation.
