All Aboard With Joanna! begins by inviting young readers into the fantastical world of creating books by showing a black and white sketch of the artist's work table as she faces the blank page. The reader can then follow the interaction between the fictional character, the little pig Joanna, and the artist. A train and its numerous passengers become the setting for this beautifully illustrated narrative. As the story unfolds, Joanna has many requests to make to her creator: from her clothing (that she would prefer to be stripey), to catching up with another train to see who could possibly be inside it. By the end of this delightful story where the author even teases Joanna - drawing a big bad wolf and a huge monster! - Joanna is finally content when she gets the right companion to spend the rest of the trip with.

Mama, Oma und ich: Emma ist Emma. Und Mama ist Mama. Und Oma ist Emmas Oma. Aber Oma ist auch Mamas Mama. So einfach ist das - und so kompliziert. Emma, das Chamäleonkind, will mit seiner Oma Verstecken spielen: Oma zählt bis 40 und Emma versteckt sich. Wo ist es am besten? Vielleicht zwischen den schlafenden Fledermäusen oder bei den stacheligen Igeln? Oder im Arm einer Lemurenmutter? Nichts befriedigt Emma. Auch nicht der Baumstamm, der sich als Krokodil herausstellt. Schliesslich findet sie ein gutes Versteck. Als die Oma sie findet, versteckt sie sich neben Emma. Ob Mama sie hier finden wird? Mama zieht los, aber hat grösste Mühe, sie zu finden. Emma und Oma überlegen sich, ob sie sich überhaupt finden lassen wollen oder ob ein Leben ohne die stetigen guten Ratschläge und Hilfestellungen von Mama nicht viel schöner wäre. Aber nein, das können und wollen sie sich beide gar nicht vorstellen, und rufen Mama zu. Nun sitzen sie zu dritt auf dem Baum und spielen. Eine schöne Geschichte, die von einer liebevollen Dreigenerationen-Beziehung erzählt. Zum Vorlesen oder selber Lesen geeignet.
