Lucius Annaeus Seneca

Lucius Annaeus Seneca (c. 1 BCE – CE 65) was a Stoic philosopher born in Corduba and educated in Rome during the Imperial Period. He served as Nero's tutor and later advisor, until he was charged with conspiracy in an assassination attempt on Nero and committed suicide on order from the emperor.
