Pierre-Antoine Chardel

Pierre-Antoine Chardel is a French philosopher and sociologist, born in 1971 in Antony, Hauts-de-Seine). He is a statutory researcher at the Laboratory of Political Anthropology, a university professor at the management school of the Institut Mines-Télécom (IMT-BS), and co-director, alongside Valérie Charolles, of the seminar "Socio-philosophy of the Present Time: Epistemological, Methodological, and Critical Issues" at the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS). This seminar is part of the "Contemporary Philosophy" Master's program at ENS-Ulm. His work focuses on the socio-philosophical, hermeneutic, and ethical challenges posed by digital technologies and, more broadly, by hypermodernity.
