Trent Walters

Trent Walters is a former American football coach for both the NFL and college. He was born on November 20, 1943, in Knoxville, Tennessee. He later went on to play college football, attend Indiana University, and get his master’s degree. He first started out coaching college football at Indiana University, the University of Louisville, the University of Washington, and the University of Pittsburgh. During his college coaching career, Walters attended the 1981 Rose Bowl, the 1991 Fiesta Bowl, and the 1982 and 1983 Aloha Bowls. Trent Walters then went on to be a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1984–2007. He finished his career as a secondary coach for the Philadelphia Eagles. In 1984, he was a defensive backfield coach for the Cincinnati Bengals. From 1994–2001, he was the outside linebackers' coach for the Minnesota Vikings and became the defensive assistant coach in 2001. From 2004–2007, he finished his career as a secondary coach for the Philadelphia Eagles, and in 2004, the Eagles attended a conference championship.
