About

Wu Hung is an American art critic of Chinese origin, a historian of Chinese art, the founder of its modern history; PhD (1987), Distinguished Service Professor at the University of Chicago, Fellow of the American Philosophical Society (2012) and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences (2007). In 1991 he was awarded Joseph Levenson Book Prize.
