5 of 5 stars ----- Edited 3/23/20: Changed my rating from 4.5 to 5 stars because I can't get it out of my head even after finishing this a week ago and it was bothering me that I hadn't given this a 5-star rating. ----- I am very picky when it comes to reading a YA contemporary romance. I am looking for very specific things that should be in the book in order for me to like it. And I guess I found it in here. This book is super fun, super sweet, super cute, cheesy but in a right amount, light and a very quick read. I am quite unconvinced with insta-love in a book. Unless it is perfectly written or done right, which is usually not the case, I am not into it. That is why one of my most favorite tropes is the friends to lovers trope. It is more believable, deeper and sweeter for me. And I loved this so much for having that trope. I loved the good vibes it delivers and my most favorite thing is that there are no toxic elements in this. This is so pure and innocent and so fluffy. The family and friendship are so on point and I kind of wish I was Sophie for the most part of this, even if it means I have to go into 10 different blind dates every day. The chaotic and fun family dynamic? Oh, I'm so into it! I loved the close bond between the whole extended family, between Sophie and her sister and the friendship between the Fab Four. I just loved how this book made my cheeks hurt from smiling too much. I wish there are still books out there who can make me feel what I feel in this book. I recommend this book for everyone who wants to have some fun. And the audiobook? Oh, definitely go for it!
this was suuuch a cute book! i loved reading the interactions between all of sophie's family, especially when dealing with all their blind date choices. i think who she ultimately ends up with in the end is sort of an obvious choice so needless to say, i'm extremely happy with how the book ended. [hearteyes emoji] also, excited to hear there's apparently a movie in the works? literally can't wait. 4.5 stars

I read it in one go, so I can’t say I didn’t like it. But... it just lacks a sense of reality. Everything is too fast, and a little unbelievable. The thing that bothered me the most is that storyline between Sophie and Griffin. I mean, you hear your boyfriend saying he may want to break up, and then instead of actually talking to him, you run, avoids him completely for 10 days, and comes out in love with a new person. I don’t like Griffin at all, but it is so unreal that someone who seemed so hurt by the idea of breaking up won’t even talk to the other person. I expected a full break up, a real heartbreak, something to justify going on ten blind dates over Christmas while your sister is sick - but I couldn’t even feel any of it because it didn’t happen? and it all went so fast? gah!!! I love the family dynamic though.
This was such a cozy and warm read! The big family trope was simply amazing. I fell in love Sophie’s family and I could always count on them to make me laugh. It was so good to see Sophie reconnecting with them all, especially with Olivia and Charlie and of course Wes. Additionally, the blind dates were funny and heartwarming and the fact that the story is set during Christmas time is a plus. MY HEART IS HAPPY

This book was a breath of Christmas fresh air (see what I did there?! 👀) and I enjoyed it so so much!! It is that kind of read that is super lighthearted, fun, super fluid and entertaining! Perfect for a one sitting read (which was not the case but just cause I didn’t have the time or else you know it would be)! The plot was very simple but so amazing! I really loved the blind dates and the storyline on the side of them! Since i’m a big family type of girl, I LOVED Sophie’s family SO MUCH! For me, a perfect Christmas read is one were family has a major plot line and this was it- the family set the blind dates!!! How funny is that?! The crazy aunt, the lovely grandma, the cool cousin and even the evil cousins participated (and let me tell u, that one was fun 😅) About the love story there, well it was very predictable for me from the beginning and very cliche but I adored it anyway, and the way it was developed along the book… loved it! The last date was so so soooo cute! I want to also mention that I really liked how the author approach a delicate theme, with Sophie’s sister, and how she led it through the book and their relationship too! 👍🏻 MAJOR LIKES (and why you should read it): the ginormous family, their relationship and interactions (matching onesies and everything!); THE FRIENDSHIP (lived for that quartet 🥰); the friends to lovers trope; the fun dates (I laughed yes, you will too); the growth of the MC and the cute love story 😍 It is an amazing Christmas book to get you in the spirit with a lovely romance story 🥰
5 ⭐️ This book gets all the stars!! I had this book on my TBR for about 2 years, and I wish I read it sooner! I loved how close Sophie’s family was. It was so cute. I found myself laughing at all the ridiculous things they would say or do. All the dates were really fun to read as well! It was pretty fast-paced so I read it rather quickly. I highly recommend this book for the holiday season!
This book was so good! I loved it so much and the writing makes it feel you're a part of the giant family!!! I flew through this book and I'm so glad I read it this year.
Perfeito 11/10 leria totalmente de novo, muito bom messssmo, eh perfeito perfeitissimo incrivel fofo romantico affffffg Do começo ate o final eh catching n teve uma hora q eu parei de ler voluntariamente. Os personagens são muito bem feitos e eh muito emocionante fiquei chateada quando acabou pq queria mais. Me deu ate dor de barriga de tao bom. Deu pra sentir as emoções que ela sentia borboleta na barriga e tudo mano. Vou definitivamente ler de novo, eh tao incrivel como o romance deles play uma side part desdo comeco e como a autora vai colocando pedacinho por pedacinho pra depois construir tudo. Te deixa chocada a conexão deles e como vc consegue sentir pelo livro (faz sentido?????? nao sei mas pode ter ctz q eh vdd) ELES SAO TAO FOFOSOSOSO MANO EU NAO AGUENTO, TOTALMENTE RECOMENDO ps; achava q ia ser ruim pcausa da capa mas foi perfeito de tao bom li em 3 dias😎

3.75 ⭐ Una storia molto carina, originale e sbarazzina. Ha un topos che apprezzo molto e mi è piaciuto come è stato sviluppato anche se man mano che mi avvicinavo alla fine diventava un po' noioso e banale. Il punteggio è dovuto al finale un po' frettoloso e abbastanza prevedibile e alla presenza di refusi sparsi qua e là all'interno del libro. Il finale mi ha veramente delusa perché è veramente approssimativo e abbozzato e avrei preferito che fosse stato sviluppato in modo più dettagliato. Lo stile è molto semplice e scorrevole, l'ho letto molto velocemente. È un libro tutto sommato senza pretese adatto per chi è alla ricerca di una commedia romantica trash.
THIS WAS SUCH A CUTE FLUFFY READ!! it was like eating a warm marshmallow! I love the family aspect so so much and i adoreee this book! the friendships! the romance! Ugh this is probably my favourite YA contemporary of the year, highly recommend!
I loved this book!! I felt like all the characters were my best friends and family. Made me feel so cosy and happy while reading this book. It was such a fun read, with all the dates and the guys. Perfect Christmas read!
This book was so freaking adorable. I loved the different dates Sophie went on and how they weren’t your traditional first dates. I loved the relationships in this story and the romance! I really loved the family dynamic too. It was so nice to see such a big and loving family support one of their own after her break up! Nonna reminded me of my own grandma in that she just wants what’s best for Sophie and what will make her happy. Overall this book has become a new favourite of mine! I’m already looking forward to rereading it!

5/5 stars If I could give this book more stars I would I absolutely LOVED this book I thought I was just going to like this book and give it 3 stars but NO it's my new comfort read its SOOOO GOOD you NEED to read it. It is so FUNNY, has the best aspects of FAMILY and I am literally in LOVE with all the characters (especially Wes he's fine bro like FINE👌😏😏). I was laughing so hard throughout the whole book and it is such an easy read please go pick it up rn. I have one complaint though the new cover is ugly like ugly ugly please please PLEASE change it back to the old cover. Thank you bye!!!!

I’m so conflicted with my review. On the one hand I was going to give it 3 stars because it was pretty obvious what role Wes was going to have in the story. But then I rounded up because even though it was cliché I really did enjoy the book and I look forward to seeing how they adapt it for a movie
