More like 3.5 stars, but I guess this is close enough. I was initially disappointed by what appeared to be a series of blood-spattered revenge fantasies. As the volume progressed it acquired the semblance of a plot, dramatic tension and characters who actually look interesting. I'll continue on to vol. II.
