A Terrible Beauty Is Born

A Terrible Beauty Is Born

W. B. Yeats2016
'But I, being poor, have only my dreams; / I have spread my dreams under your feet...' By turns joyful and despairing, some of the twentieth century's greatest verse on fleeting youth, fervent hopes and futile sacrifice.

Really interesting. I've never read any Yeats and he's a great poet. The one thing is that you need to take your time on many poems as there's a lot of references to things that are not as well known today (i.e. the sphinx in the second coming).
