When Finn is cursed with a forgetting spell by the Magic Man, he and his friends have to try to save the Land of Ooo before he loses his memory entirely.

Such silly, much ridiculous... must be Adventure Time! The first story in this volume was my favourite as it featured some talking dinosaurs and a glimpse at the relationship between Marceline and Princess Bubblegum!

When Finn the human and Jake the dog get their hands on Princess Bubblegum's time machine and travel into the future, they might permanently alter the timeline of the Land of Ooo.

I liked it less that the first volume but I still really enjoyed the story. A LOT.

Join best pals Jake the Dog, Finn the Human, Princess Bubblegum and Marceline the Vampire Queen in the Land of Ooo as they fact they're greatest adventure yet - comic books

I love the show and just had to read this. Now I'm possibly in love with it.

The story is simple yet great; The Lich is sucking up the world into his bag and Finn and Jake must save everyone. They are accompanied by some fabulous characters - Princess Bubblegum, Marceline, Lumpy Space Princess, Desert Princess, The Ice King - and there are some hilarious pieces of dialogue. All the characters have funny, well-developed personalities that you can't help but fall in love with.

I also like how the fourth wall is often broken - Marceline moans at the readers, and fake "The End" pages are included for humour. It gives the novel a unique feel that I really enjoyed.

The artwork is amazing. Like, absolutely awesome. So much colour! And it's all so clear and beautiful. The only problem with the appearance in this novel is that the text at the bottom of some pages is a strange, pale green that is pretty hard to read against the white background of the pages.

Toward the back of the book, there are also tons of different cover images, all in different art styles. I loved them all! They were a great touch to the novel.

I was very tempted to give this 5 stars, but I don't think it's quite there. But 4.5 stars for sure!

What happens when Jake the dog and Finn the human get hold of Princess Bubblegum's time machine and travel into the future? Can you say 'Robot Finn & Jake'? Find out in this exciting volume.

The second volume of Adventure Time comics! I loved it even more than the first!

So in these episodes, Finn and Jake go on a crazy time adventure, thanks to Princess Bubblegum's amazing invention. At first, it's all just a bit of fun - until PB decides the time machine is too dangerous and must be destroyed. Of course, Jake already had plans to use it and attempts to repair the machine. This leads to some strange outcomes...

The main characters in this volume are BMO and PB (other than Finn and Jake, of course). There are also mentions of several other characters, including a strange Finn-Jake hybrid named Tim. Oh, and there are a ton of robots. (Thanks, BMO.)

As usual, the graphics are superb. One of my favourite parts is still the "cover gallery" at the end, with alternate covers for each issue. I also like the little side-notes included at the bottom of some pages, often breaking the fourth wall and referring to the TV show. I do, however, sometimes feel like they're trying a bit too hard to be funny. Eh, I might just be a picky reader.

I really do love these comics - they're fun and enjoyable and relaxing to read. The art is lovely and the stories are just a bit of fun, really. Of course, there are some pretty meaningful morals hidden under all the jokes, too.

Easily 4.5 stars for this volume. Colourful and funny and unique!

Jake, Finn, and Marceline want to play video games, but an evil wizard has given BMO a virus, and they must save their computer friend before it is too late.

The first part of this volume involves the Ice King and his spell to remove Finn and Jake's free will. This leaves them at the will of the readers, who decide how their adventures will pan out.

The next chapter in the collection starts with BMO digging up an old video game for Finn, Jake and Marceline to play. Little do they know that this is the start of a major computer virus that will spread throughout Ooo...

The main characters are, of course, Finn and Jake, along with Marceline, BMO and Princess Bubblegum. The Ice King and "Ewlbo" are also featured for some time in this volume.

I always think these comics are great, just for a relaxing, easy read. They're funny, clever, and pretty immature sometimes. The art is lovely and the stories are just a bit of fun for all ages. This isn't my favourite, but I will still give it 3.5-4 stars.

The highly anticipated fourth volume of the all-ages bestseller Adventure Time is here! After a nice battle of ice and saving princess, Finn and Jake discover a series of dungeons just ready for exploring! It’s a fun time with pals and...the Ice King?! Collecting the latest arc of the fan-favorite series with loads of extra materials in this beautiful hardcover edition!

Adventure Time Vol. 4

Number four in this colourful series! Another fun, exciting adventure with our favourite characters. It includes issues 15 to 19 of the comic.

The first adventure Finn and Jake embark on is the retrieval of their voices after a princess tea party is crashed by the mischievous Magic Man. The princesses all get together, including Bubblegum and LSP (of course), to assist Finn and Jake.

After that, the boys find themselves in the Ice King's hidden (and forgotten) dungeon. They want the treasure at the other end, but that requires defeating several monstrous bosses first...

The adventures are, as always, great fun. The graphics are awesome and the dialogue is hilarious. This volume teaches us a lot about the Ice King's past, too, and is actually quite emotionally deep at times.

I really enjoyed this! A light-hearted, funny read (although it had it's more emotional moments). I found myself actually sympathising with the Ice King, and really wanting to know more about his past. And I loved the cover gallery, as always! There are some amazing pieces in here!

Easily 4 stars for this volume, at least.

Finn is cursed. And it looks like Magic Man is at it again. Can Finn and Jake save The Land of Ooo... again?

Another fun little read from Titan Comics. There's not much that's new to talk about here - Finn, Jake and their friends are off on more colourful adventures, this time involving ghosts. The characters will mostly all be familiar from the show and previous comics, except for a new foe here and there.

The art is as bold and wonderful as always, and the stories are all just as fun as usual. There's even the theme of mistakenly generalising negative beliefs across a whole community, which is such a relevant lesson for people to learn in this world.

There isn't much else to say about this, but I definitely recommend these comics for a nice, light read sometimes. I'm revising for exams currently and have loved relaxing with this. They're appropriate to every age group - kids will love it, and the YA community are crazy about this franchise. Just because it may be a "kid's" story, I think anyone can appreciate them.

4 stars! A bit of fun, with important lessons intertwined. I love these.
