Paper Girls A DCI Robert Kett Novel

i enjoyed this a lot :^) easily a 4/4.5. i get frustrated with a lot of thrillers (especially crime/mystery thrillers) bc you can see the plot twists coming a mile off. its normally pretty obvious that it’s the guy that they immediately dismiss …. but paper girls surprised me !! one of my hunches was right but i never would’ve predicted the plot twist ^-^ robbie is an interesting & well-written main character & i’m looking forward to seeing where the rest of the series goes !

** spoiler alert ** I loved this book! I was hooked from start to finish. The story starts slowly, but the pace picks up when the suspects start to be introduced. I really liked the fact that as well as the main kidnapping case going on in the book, Kett’s missing wife’s disappearance is also ongoing in the background. I found that it made the story more interesting as I was constantly trying to figure out both cases. While you don’t find out much about his wife’s disappearance, the book ends with a teaser that really makes you want to continue the series so that you can find out!
