It was fine, but I would not recommend it to anyone I actually liked.

This was so good. I was not expecting how much I related to Paris' problems. I really enjoyed the character arcs and interpersonal interactions. I also really enjoyed the variety of personalities. Sometimes the social media stuff was a little... Extra if not overly accurate.

Overall, it was a really good book!

This made my anxiety act up so much, I didn't enjoy it as much as I could have

While I wasn’t absolutely wowed by the romance on this one, I 

 utterly wow-ed by the character arc!! Paris’s journey from being an utterly exhausting anxiety-riddled person to someone who is able to admit & grapple with their generalized anxiety disorder was so, SO heart-warming & lovely 🥹. I adored his interactions with Morag, & his scenes with Tariq did get progressively sweeter, especially after we stopped getting inexhaustible anxious word-vomit all the time. I can’t really speak to the South Asian rep in this one bc it’s pretty much the exact opposite of my experience, but it 

 clear there was more thought out into it than in other books, so there’s that! But, above all, I loved loved  L O V E D that this was an unequivocal pro-therapy love story that made it ABSOLUTELY CLEAR that romantic love isn’t going to miraculously ~fix~ your mental health, but it can be a wonderful, eye-opening, motivating thing to propel you to find help for yourself. MORE OF THAT IN ROMANCE, PLS.
