Mind boggling. I'm also a sucker for a multi-media book, and this one is filled with articles, transcripts, texts, and diary entries. I like that we don't hear from Tabby until the very end. It's very much like how in real life we cannot "see" into people's heads. My thoughts on the whodunit: I think they both did it. Is that the safest bet? Probably. But I think that there's enough there to argue that they both played a part in it. I do think, without a doubt, that Mark was abusive, and I think there's sufficient evidence to support that he may have tried to hurt Tabby and she reacted. She could have gone down the mountain and tried to check on Mark, but when she didn't see him she then got lost. I also think it's possible that everything that happened with the rocks and whatnot was Keegan's doing, and he may have followed them there to make sure Mark died. I genuinely don't know. There's enough evidence to blame either/or. But I have a feeling the truth is somewhere in the middle.

This book was amazing! There were so many twists and turns that I never saw coming. I really couldn't tell who the murder really was. I loved how we didn't get to hear Tabby's perspective until the very end. This book may have taken a little bit of time to get into but the ending was so worth it!

2.5 stars. very mixed feelings about this one. i have to say this ya mystery has been one of the most intriguing ones i've read lately from this genre. on 'all eyes on her' we follow the story of tabby, a high school girl who gets thrown into a police investigation when her college boyfriend appears dead at the foot of a cliff after they apparently went on for a hike. the suspicions as to whether it was an accident or a murder unravel after people start providing their own versions of what the couple was actually like, painting a very unfavorable image of tabby.

on the one hand, it was very easy for me to get hooked on this story. maybe it was the way it was told, through different POVs of people who knew the characters, each one giving their own version of the events that transpired between tabby and her now dead boyfriend; or maybe it was the way it kept me on edge trying to figure out for myself what actually happened the day the boyfriend died. but on the other hand, i don't know whether the ending left me fulfilled or not. i love reading books from unreliable narrators, and tabby was the epitome of said trope, but the fact that because this story was about the protagonist being unreliable, i don't think the ending left me satisfied since it could very well be taken as an open ending, and i hate those. i don't know who told the truth, don't know what actually happened for sure, so like i said, while it was entertaining while it lasted, the overall feeling this book left me was of unfulfillment.

Review: For the most part this was an ok book. The premise is interesting and excitable. The book does well with the world building and the pacing is even for the most part.

However, the ending is open and that really left me with more questions than answers and the book didn't do well with the characters. It was an interesting way to write the book, but the characters were left very underdeveloped in my opinion.

Verdict: It was ok but was a bit confusing.

When I say that this novel is an addictive substance, I'm not exaggerating. Maybe I was in the mood for a thriller. Or maybe Flynn's prose is like a drug. Whatever the case, I blew through All Eyes on Her within just a few hours and found myself unable to tear my eyes from it. (Ahem. Unintended joke but here we are. Who knows.)

All Eyes on Her is truly something. There's this inexplicable quality to it that leads to the novels overall potency--it compels you from the very second you read its synopsis. A quick, one worded review would be simple: enthralling. And it is just that, despite being a bit predictable. (Side note: this isn't an insult. I read a lot of thrillers in a similar vein, and sometimes things feel familiar to me.) 

What makes the story all the more indulgent and chilling is the way that the central storylines tie into the bigger picture. All Eyes on Her was appropriately titled due to how quickly the puzzle pieces begin to merge. Flynn toys her readers into the mysterious air. The psychological ton the story takes as it unravels makes All Eyes on Her even more impossible to put down.

Uniquely, this story shows us the many angles of a crime vs. the complexities of humanity--the ever changing POV elevates the tension to new levels. And I especially enjoyed how All Eyes on Her approached the character at the center: the story is never told from the suspects point of view, which makes the story even more engaging.

At the end of the day, All Eyes on Her all but begs readers to question everyone and everything.
