The first book took me a while to get into, especially since it was so different from the Hades & Persephone and Zeus & Brigit series, but holy shit this sequel is amazing! I've fully and completely fallen in love with Poseidon and Ashley, and their twisted and sexy connection. I'm so glad we got to see more of Poseidon's background, and at this point we need to protect this sexy pirate at all cost! He's been through so much and lost everything. The plottwist towards the end was something I did not see coming considering the set-up in the first book, but wow. Just wow. Amelia Wilde is a queen when it comes to cliffhangers, and this was no exception. I need to read the third (and unfortunately final) book in this trilogy like yesterday!
