I received an eARC in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and options are my own. And she’s done it again. Seriously Amelia? I don’t know how you do this to me every single time, but no matter how much the main male character is usually an asshole, I still end up loving them so much. This book had me from the first page. Gabriel Hill is my favorite type of fictional man. He’s dark, brooding, angry and a little broken. A typical alpha-hole. And our poor Elise. I genuinely wanted to cry for her at a few points in this book. She’s so sweet and holds such a weight on her shoulders from being the first born child who just wants to protect your sisters at all costs. I seriously don’t want to say much anything else because I’ll give something away. Just know going in that it’s going to be one hell of an emotional roller coaster and it’ll leave you literally on the tips of your toes at the edge of a cliff. I seriously cannot wait until book 2! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️✨ (4.5 stars)
