What did I just read?

I think I need a few glasses of wine now. I don't know how to comprehend what I just read.

Everything in the Midnight Mayhem world is legit bat s*** crazy. It's dark, mysterious, and at times I still don't understand some of the things that happen. But damn, did this book keep me hooked. I have been dying to read this book since the ending of book one. Killian and Saskia have such a crazy dynamic. The chemistry between these two is truly undeniable. The constant back and forth, push and pull had me reeling. The madness of it all really drew me in. This book had me in a trance. I didn't want to put it down. Amo Jones really knows how to catch my attention, make me fall in love with characters I never thought I would even like, and give me all the feels for such a great book. I have not once been disappointed by one of her books.

not gonna lie, this book be making me giggles and shit. i really love saskia and killian's dynamic. love saskia's character and how she brings herself, but kill? he's a trickster who doesn't show much of his skill. most of times, we only got several description that he's a 'trickster' in a monologue. amo didn't show much of his plays, that, i disappointed. 

not gonna lie, i thought kill is gonna be paired with maya — recalling how amo described their relationship in the first book, guessed it's gonna be best friend to lovers or childhood love trope. and anyway.. DRAYA IRRITATED ME TF 

also, i kind of think the concept is fresh; i see the pattern that amo used for the first book. loss of memory, kidnapping, the mmc despise the fmc. i love this book, nevertheless <3

I really loved this book! This world that Amo has built is full of so many secrets, and a here we unravel the ones that lie between Killian and Saskia.

Killian is the trickster, the boy who can't love. Saskia is a complete unknown, a player on the fringe of their world. Or is she? As with every one of Amo's books, nothing is as it seems. 

I loved the dynamic between these two. Killian definitely makes it as hard as possible for Saskia, but she holds her own with her head held high. They both have tough walls, but somehow they both find ways to make cracks in eachothers defenses. They truly are a match for each other. On to book 3!

This is a re read for me. I read it before I was reviewing books. It’s an absolute FAVORITE of mine so of course I’ll review it now. 

I have yet to read a book from Amo that I didn’t absolutely LOVE. This one is no different. Her books are forever my comfort reads. The only author since diving into the spicy book world who’s books I re read ❤️ it feels like coming home whenever I read her writing.

Saskia is one of my absolute favorite FMCs. The turmoil and just all around mind-fuckery that this girl has to go through is astounding. 

Killian is cocky, a self admitted bad person and HOT. The absolute perfect match for Saskia. They’re chemistry and absolute draw to one another is undeniable. 

I’m true Amo fashion she leaves you little breadcrumbs through out the book, hopefully your paying attention 😝

I Fury Lies Mischief (Midnight Mayhem #2) by Amo Jones was an unpredictable, non-stop thrill ride. The sexiness, angst, darkish grit feel, and many twist that were jaw dropping, I never seen coming were amazing. Killian "The Trickster" played with my head and had me guessing his motives a few times, there is a reason why he is called "The Trickster". He is protective and possessive over Saskia and loved every moment with them. Interesting plot and was loving the different locations that take part through out the story. 

I feel Midnight Mayhem series should be read in order.

Really enjoyed being back in this world. Killian is everything. I’m obsessed with the Trickster.

This book was amazing.
This book was flawless.

This book was completely and utterly Amo Jones.

When you read an author who has a distinct voice and style, it’s something special. What makes is even more special? Witnessing the author’s growth, evolution and perfecting if their craft. 

Yes, this was a dark book, it was full of Amo sass and witt, but it held some lighter moments. Some that made time still, where the tick tock faded away and you lived suspended between the words for a second. And that fellow readers, is what I call MAGIC. 

Sass and Killian are complicated (SURPRISE! Haha) but gah the way Amo slowly reveals plot twist and layers of the story you thought you knew always enthralls me. The way she flips everything on its head.. GAH no words! She is a Q U E E N.

This series is quickly becoming one of my favourites and I cannot get enough of this world Amo Jones has created. Midnight Mayhem is Mind-blowing Masterpiece.
