The Kiel music producer Peter Bruhns is found with his young lover, both dead in a penthouse. In the investigations a poison is detected. The Commissioners Soeren Henning and Lisa Santos find it to be something of a mystery. The case takes an unexpected turn when DNA at the scene ensures it is connected with various other murders, the work of a serial killer.
