The Secret Script or The Story of Two New Friends

Enid and Lucy are two best friends who live in Witchwood, a magical place of islands, dark woods and a multitude of forest creatures, as well as spirits and witches. They communicate in coded messages using a secret script devised by Enid, but trouble starts when the key to their script falls into the hands of a mysterious new resident of Witchwood. Along the way, the girls encounter famous figures from Slavic folklore, such as the fearsome, but kind Baba-Yaga, and have the opportunity to consider ideas about fearing the unknown, forgiveness and judging books by their covers.
