well, I feel like this doesn't count as a full book, but since it's listed as book 1,5, I'm just going with it. Liked it, not sure what the overlap is with book two, but we'll see!

I missed that world so much. Even if it felt like it went by too fast I am still happy. Maria set it u pin a way that people got to vote on what happened in the next chapter and I just love that! I wish I was a part of that! I need to keep up with her website. I love everything about this world and these characters. And this story just gave me such a nice little insight to how much Valek cares for Yelana which is all I need in life really. I'm really glad I thought to read this.

“Knife fighting was his forte, but he wouldn’t have time to have a proper match. Pity.” A quick novella about our favourite Valek being amazing again and again. It was honestly too short to be engaged into the plot to much, felt like a chapter. I wish we got a bit more about Valek's little adventure and his FEELINGS. Still, a rather entertaining read, although not mandatory. P.S. Snapping on Commander, Valek? My, my, be careful. Love you.
