Stevie is such a strong women and she doesn’t realize it because she is so beat down from her ex. She is trying to relearn how to love herself. The worst part is she didn’t even realize her worth and how shitty her ex was to her till Fletcher showed her what a good man does. B. Celeste does such a beautiful job portraying how broken Stevie is with the deep and emotional thoughts she has with herself and with those close to her. There is also so many amazing things to be learned from this story. The way Stevie loves Fletchers son and shows him support even though he doesn’t act like the other students is amazing.
