Barbara Hepworth Centenary

Barbara Hepworth was one of the most significant sculptors of the twentieth century and one of the most successful women artists of her time. Published to commemorate the centenary of her birth, this beautifully illustrated book accompanies exhibitions at Tate St. Ives and Yorkshire Sculpture Park, the first major showing of her work for nearly a decade. Edited by Chris Stephens, Senior Curator at Tate Britain, the book includes a number of different perspectives on Hepworth's achievements: her deep interest in music, her feelings about landscape, the influence of relationships and motherhood, and the unflagging passion she had for her work.
