When a coworker discovered this book in the bookroom at school and the fact that I had never read this book before, she insisted that I set aside "No Ordinary Time" and read that book last night. Reluctantly, (since I love "No Ordinary Time" so much, I did. 
I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Robinson creates a captivating children's book that entertains without dumbing down. I laughed out loud several times through the book and marvelled at how Robinson told the story so well without giving away the name or any other specifics about the narrator. (I thought the narrator was a boy until she said that she wanted to be Mary.)
I definitely recommend this book.
