I think I read this for school or helped my brother read it for school.

This book was so much better than I was expecting. It was so good. It made me think about the true christmas a little more than I have before and it was so cool. Now I can't wait until this christmas when Dallas Jenkins releases his movie about this book. I'm sure he'll do great things with it! Please read this book! I was expecting it to be kinda cliche but it wasn't at all. It was very realistic. And I highly recommend it.

I fell in love with this book as a kid and have since continued to read it to other kids (thankfully not my own...yet). It's a wonderful story about the power of loving the unloveable--sigh...

When a coworker discovered this book in the bookroom at school and the fact that I had never read this book before, she insisted that I set aside "No Ordinary Time" and read that book last night. Reluctantly, (since I love "No Ordinary Time" so much, I did. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. Robinson creates a captivating children's book that entertains without dumbing down. I laughed out loud several times through the book and marvelled at how Robinson told the story so well without giving away the name or any other specifics about the narrator. (I thought the narrator was a boy until she said that she wanted to be Mary.) I definitely recommend this book.
